R&R Ice Cream has some hot new products for your freezer. The firm plans to exploit the £10m Nestlé Lion Bar brand with a Lion Ice Cream Bar. Pricemarked at £1, the 80ml chocolate-coated bar contains toffee ice cream, wafer, and chewy caramel sauce, and is set to appeal to value-conscious shoppers.
Another big brand making waves in ice cream is Rolo, which will be introduced to the impulse sector in a cone format, priced at £1.10. Rolo Cone became the third best-selling cone in the take-home market last year and R&R is hoping for similar success in convenience.
Other new additions include the 150ml Maxibon Cookie (rrp: £1.60), and 130ml Maxi Cone Vanilla (rrp: £1.10).
