Nestlé Confectionery is releasing a limited edition Aero bubbly white bar (rrp: 62p) on 17 February after fans voted it their favourite flavour in a Facebook poll.
The poll launched last November and asked Aero fans to choose their favourite flavour from: bubbly white, lemon, strawberry and cappuccino. The white variant secured 39% of votes and will be supported by a digital media campaign, which is set to appeal to the brand’s target audience of 25-34 year olds.
Nestlé UK & Ireland senior corporate communications manager James Maxton says: “Aero has a huge 957,000 fans on Facebook and therefore the ‘Fans Favourite Flavour’ campaign was an excellent opportunity to talk directly with them and let them tell us what they most wanted to see from the brand. Now fans have had their say, they will be excited to see their chosen flavour in store. As Aero bubbly white is only available as a limited edition we recommend retailers display it off-shelf, where shoppers cannot miss it, to achieve maximum sales.”
