Peperami has expanded into the snacks sector through a new 
licensing agreement with snacks producer Humdinger Ltd.

The result is Double Crunch Peanuts, designed to tap into the growing popularity of the flavoured nuts sector which has grown 47% in the past 12 months (IRI MAT).

The nuts are available in cases of 14x70g packs (rrp £1).

Peperami head of licensing Julie McCleave said consumers would be attracted to the product due to brand recognition. She added: “We know that 54% of consumers look for a trusted brand when choosing savoury snacks so by combining the number one meat snack with a key player in the nuts sector we anticipate new Peperami Double Crunch Peanuts will appeal to consumers and in turn deliver sales to retailers.”
