British flavoured-water brand Perfectly Clear has launched its ‘No S**** Science’ campaign this month, led by a straight-talking, anti-sugar ‘scientist’.
The sugar-free flavoured spring water, from CBL Drinks Ltd, is demanding recognition after the recent government budget announcement to introduce a sugar tax on the drinks industry.
The campaign has kicked off with a new TV advert filmed earlier this year promoting the product’s ‘Zero Sugar: Genius Taste’.
CBL Drinks sales and marketing director Maurice Newton said: “With the brand growing from strength-to-strength and at a time when sugar content in drinks is a national concern, it is the perfect time to elevate the brand and highlight its sugar-free benefits.
“We have invested heavily into the brand over the last 18-months with additions to the range, packaging reformats and investment into the production at the factory with new machinery.
“We’re all extremely excited about the year ahead with the increased campaign activity set to continue throughout 2016.”
Perfectly Clear is produced and bottled on-site at the CBL Drinks Ltd Sunderland factory, with water drawn from its own Spring, The Hadrian Well.
