This summer, Trebor and Maynards Wine Gums are available in 50p pricemarked packs. Research suggests that shoppers are looking for clear and transparent pricing information, with pricemarked packs helping to make their hunt for value easier, claims the firm.
“Independent retailers say that PMPs can encourage impulsive purchasing, with themajority believing they sell faster than standard packs and can be used to save time pricing in store - meaning they can provide great sales and operational benefits for stores,” said Susan Nash, trade communications manager at Mondelez International.
“Pricemarked packs help to give customers the reassurance of clear pricing in store. As the number one mint, worth £59m, Trebor has the highest rate of sale of any mint brand.”
