Bargain Booze has positioned itself as the ‘Proud Sponsor of Summer 2013’ in a new summer marketing campaign running across TV, radio and social media this week.
Launching today (Wednesday May 22), the ad will feature Bank Holiday deals and will run for four days to drive footfall into store over the weekend.
It is hoped this campaign will replicate previous TV advertising success, which generated a 9.5% increase in sales.
The comedic ad sees Bargain Booze’s roving reporter get frustrated as the public struggle to tell him where to get great Bank Holiday drinks deals, despite standing outside a Bargain Booze store.
The ad will air during prime-time spots on ITV including the Champions League Final, Coronation Street and All Star Mr & Mrs, while radio ads will run on Talksport.
Adam Burnett, Bargain Booze marketing director, said: “The Bank Holiday is a key sales period for our franchisees and we are using it as the official launch of summer. The new campaign will create awareness of our deals and drive footfall into stores.”
