Making its debut today, Haribo’s latest television advert stars Petrus du Plessis, the prop forward for reigning premiership champions, The Saracens.
Taking to the pitch and the big screen, Petrus makes his debut on the Tangfastics ‘kids’ voices’ creative as it moves from the rugby field into the changing room with hilarious results.
Hayley Johnson, marketing manager at Haribo UK said: “We started the year with a very ambitious plan for our above the line activity; we were releasing four new adverts and, for the first time, we were also introducing Tangfastics into our kids’ voices creative, which has supported Haribo Starmix for almost two years. This was definitely the right move as we’ve received some fantastic feedback from fans of the brand.
“This latest Tangfastics advert continues to capture our inner child proposition perfectly, which is definitely showcased by Petrus, the wider cast and the rugby setting. Extremely funny and perhaps a little bit cheeky too – it’s a perfect platform for Tangfastics and also as our final creative for 2016.”
‘Changing room’, the latest 30 second spot for the leading gums and jellies brand, is part of a multi-million-pound investment, which has already seen three new adverts launch during 2016.
The advert airs across TV, cinema and video on demand. Take out’s featuring the popular one-liners, which have become synonymous with the campaign creative, also feature across Haribo’s social platforms.
Developed by creative agency and film production company Quiet Storm, ‘Changing Room’ joins a line-up of popular adverts that showcase adults with kids’ voices. Previous creative saw ‘Boardroom’ ranked number one in Nielsen’s ‘Top 30 Most Impactful Ads’.
