Costcutter Supermarkets Group has racked up another positive set of recruitment figures with 243 new Costcutter and Kwiksave stores opened in the past year.
Mace, Supershop and Your Store also performed well with 110 new retailers having signed up in the eight months since March 2013, when Costcutter’s strategic partnership with P&H began.
Costcutter chief executive Darcy Willson-Rymer said the figures provided Costcutter with a “great platform for continued growth in 2014,” as it completed the transfer to its new supply chain.
“These growth figures highlight the strong performance of the group in recruiting new retailers over the past year. Mace in particular has grown substantially since we took control of these stores, and 110 new accounts in eight months is an excellent result,” he added.
