Dr Oetker has launched a new ‘Yes It’s Pizza’ range made using a base of vegetable dough.
Available in beetroot and spinach base flavours, the new frozen pizza range is being promoted by an above and below the line marketing campaign backed by social media and digital activity, as well as a full PR campaign launching in June.
Jo Skinner, senior brand manager at Dr Oetker, said: “We are thrilled to be launching this new and exciting range of pizzas that follows the trend of added vegetables which is becoming increasingly popular. The range brings great tasting pizzas that offer permissibility, vibrancy, freshness, excitement and full on flavour.”
The ‘Yes It’s Pizza’ Beetroot Base is topped with zucchini, smoked ham, cheese and red onion, while the ’Yes It’s Pizza’ Spinach Base is topped with creamy mozzarella, broccoli and mushrooms. Each base contains 35% pure spinach or beetroot.
Each pizza base is created by blending spinach or beetroot into the dough, resulting in a unique, brightly coloured base, giving consumers a brand new pizza experience from the frozen aisle.
The Dr Oetker ‘Yes It’s Pizza’ range is available to independent retailers now (rrp £3.69).
