The Health Lottery’s 3-for-£2 promotion is set to make a return.
Running from 15 September to 16 November, the promotion offers consumers three chances to win in the twice-weekly draw for the price of £2.
The offer can be redeemed via coupons appearing in The Daily Express, The Daily Star every day and on selected dates in The Daily Mail, The Daily Mirror and The Sun. The 3-for-£2 promotion was first run in May and June of this year.
According to the Health Lottery, the promotion will give retailers a 50% increase in margin and see them make 15p on every 3-for-£2 transaction.
Health Lottery director Mimi Turner said: “The multi-buy promotional approach is an innovation in the lottery category and we know it works. When we ran a 3-for-£2 promotion across two months in the summer, we saw sales in major multiples increase between 40-50% and some of our other partners saw their sales more than double.”
Turner added that this promotion offered customers a value alternative to the National Lottery.
“We all know that for our customers money is still tight and they are looking for value,” she said.
“Spending £2 on a Lotto or Euromillions is a big decision. The Health Lottery gives them an alternative option. And, for the same price as just one ticket for Lotto or Euromillions, we’re giving them three chances to win.
”At the same time, every ticket sold helps they are helping to support thousands of local health charities because every ticket sold raises money for a community health project.”
