Londis is hoping to serve its retailers heartier sales with a revised breakfast package.
Featuring 19 ‘must stock’ products, promotions and a best practice guide, the new package aims to help Londis retailers capitalise on breakfast, which according to Londis is the most widely-consumed meal at home.
The range includes products from the SuperValu own-brand range including SuperValu smoked back bacon, SuperValu free range eggs and SuperValu Apple Juice.
Products will be featured in regular three-weekly promotional offers on breakfast lines and promoted on consumer leaflets.
The best practice breakfast guide includes top-tips, guidance on how to minimise waste and advice on complying with chilled legislation.
Getting the breakfast offer right was a “quick and easy” way for independent retailers to drive sales, said Scott Wharton, Londis’ sales director.
