Londis retailers can look forward to easier ordering when the Musgrave Group introduces a new online facility later this year.
Revealed exclusively in Convenience Store’s Year Ahead for Fascia supplement, Londis said that it planned to build on its 2011 successes with an increased investment and development in its offer.
“We are pleased to launch online ordering, providing retailers with an easy, convenient method of ordering goods from us via the web,” Londis said.
“The website will contain lots of handy features such as a delivery window countdown and up-to-date pricing information, making placing an order simple and quick for our retailers,” the company added.
Weymouth retailer Steve Bassett said it was another positive change by the company.
In Yorkshire, Londis Hemingborough retailer Teresa Turner said she was looking forward to the opportunity to order online.
“Any retailers who do their ordering via Londis using the catalogue will be thrilled as it’s bound to save them lots of time,” she said.
Teresa added: “I don’t currently have an online ordering facility so I’m looking forward to finding out more.”
