Londis has enhanced its online ordering Webshop system with a series of upgrades including new search features and live information about the expected time of deliveries.
A new catalogue allows retailers to find products from any brand, and includes predictive suggestions which provide a shortcut to matching products and categories.
The delivery tracker facility offers real-time information from trucks every 15 minutes.
The online ordering platform has already cut the time it takes retailers to order by an average of 50%, with some Londis stores reporting time savings of 75%.
Londis sales director Scott Wharton said the upgrade would free up even more time for retailers, enabling them to “focus on running their stores more efficiently, effectively and ultimately profitably”.
Londis Webshop also allows retailers to recall previous orders or use order templates for specific categories or seasonal events.
