Nisa-Today's has revealed a new brand image and store design which have been developed with the help of its retail members.
The new visuals will be rolled out to new stores over the coming months and will feature in the Nisa symbol group's first Store of the Future, which opens in Maylandsea in Essex next month.
Chief executive Neil Turton said: "For several months, a group of Nisa retailers on the symbol group development committee have been working hard on a range of design and retail ideas to create the future of the Nisa symbol.
"Store designs will be adapted into the new Nisa design and theme, which will run right through the store, with new graphics and signage and a modern approach to in-store presentation," he added.
Group symbol director John Heagney said that more than 100 retailers had joined the Nisa group since January, and that members had collectively seen a 30.2% increase in turnover in the year to October.
