Mehmet Guzel has opened his second Simply Fresh outlet in London.
The store is located at innovative co-living site The Collective in Old Oak, West London, where residents have their own serviced bedrooms but share communal lounges, kitchens, gardens, work spaces and leisure facilities. There is also a selection of bars, restaurants and function rooms that can be booked for private parties and get-togethers.
Mehmet’s original store in Bethnal Green , East London, has won many industry awards, including Best Off Licence Store at the Convenience Retail Awards 2015, and the new store features a characteristically rich and diverse array of local, organic and ethical products. Its official launch on Wednesday 16 November is going to be driven by digital marketing via the Simply Fresh app instead of traditional leaflets, in line with the emphasis on modern living.
Simply Fresh creative director Davinder Jheeta said: “We are incredibly excited about the launch of our newest Simply Fresh store at The Collective, Old Oak. The Old Oak co-living concept was designed for those who want to make the most out of life and at Simply Fresh we see good food as being an integral part of that. We celebrate great local products and are hugely passionate about fresh food and drink and we look forward to supplying the residents of Old Oak and the local area with some fantastic specialist healthy products, as well as their everyday shopping items.”
