Nisa is celebrating after being named Best Convenience Retailer at the CTP Awards.
The group was also named best symbol retailer - for the third year in a row - in what turned out to be a strong night for symbol groups overall. Nisa’s group symbol director John Heagney described the win as “extremely rewarding”. He added: “We are deeply grateful for this accolade and strive to provide our members with the best products, ranges and services for their customers.”
Other winners included Today’s (best for impulse), Budgens (best for meal-for-tonight), Mace (best lottery) and Lifestyle Express (best BWS). AF Blakemore’s Spar chain Tates was named as best managed convenience chain.
The awards are based on shopper satisfaction ratings across a variety of criteria, gathered from interviews with 22,000 consumers at different multiples, co-op and symbol outlets as part of HIM’s Convenience Tracking Programme.
MidCounties Co-operative was named as the best co-op retailer.
