Nisa-Today's is offering a 75% reduction in annual fees to members of its Nisa symbol group who agree to cut out paper, printing and postage costs and carry out all their business communications with the wholesaler electronically.
The new paperless membership option will require those stores signed up to receive all their business documents including invoices and statements from Nisa in an electronic format, via an online delivery portal. Any business documents not currently available online would be added to the scheme, Nisa said.
In return for adopting the cost-cutting measures members will benefit from a £2,500 reduction in their fees as well as minimising their environmental impact.
"We believe it is our duty to offer every opportunity to make our members more successful," said James Roberts, head of commercial operations and member service at Nisa-Today's.
"Members wishing to sign up to our paperless option are not only reducing their costs, but also their carbon footprint, which is an important consideration for all businesses today."
