Aryzta Food Solutions is hoping to make more of the growing food to go opportunity with the launch of two new individually Wrapped to Go products for its sweet bakery range.
The new ‘thaw and serve’ products are a Salted Caramel Shortbread bar (63g) and a Rocky Road bar (62g).
Both products have an rrp of £1.25 and offer retailers a 32% profit on return. They also have a shelf life of 14 days.
The salted caramel flavour combination is currently one of the most popular with shoppers, Mariam French, Aryzta Food Solutions’ head of marketing and product said.
“We know that nine out of 10 adults enjoy sweet biscuits and a third of consumers eat biscuits two to four times a day, so the demand is there,” she added.
“The two new Wrapped To Go products enable retailers to offer shoppers the quality, tasty products they’re looking for when they’re on the move.”
Aryzta is also offering a range of display units for the ‘Wrapped to Go’ range including freestanding display units, counter top displays and clip on units.
