British brand Bobby’s has unveiled its first bagged confectionery range.
The £1 pricemarked hanging bag range comprises 18 lines, which are a mix of proven sellers, modern favourites and brand new products. Among some of the brand-new products created is Berry Duo’s - soft strawberry chews encased in a raspberry hard-boiled sweet and vice versa. The new product idea was born out of the desire to give consumers a longer, experience-led eat.
A bespoke metal stand is also available to retailers and designed exclusively for the c-store environment, with a footprint only slightly larger than an A3 piece of paper.
Bobby’s marketing manager, Carmelina Mancini, said: ““We have seen an increasing demand for £1 bagged products, and I do not doubt that this new range will cement itself as a firm favourite with consumers. With the current market and pricing pressures, we’re proud of the £1 price point and the NPD we’ve been able to achieve, this allows us to continue to support our retailers and offer them a point of difference.”
