Functional drinks brand Boost is now the official sponsor of Faversham Town F.C., the only town in the country with the rights to use the Royal Coat of Arms of England as its crest.
The sponsorship agreement for the 24/25 season will see Boost become the club’s official hydration partner and back of shirt sponsor.
Following the brand’s on-pack refresh in April 2024, the season introduces a new partnership for the company, aiming to “champion the everyday heroes of the game”.
This partnership succeeds their previous sponsorship of Leeds United F.C last season.
The sponsorship was revealed in a comical video fronted by double-capped Faversham Town F.C. player and rumoured strongest man in football, Adebayo Akinfenwa – AKA The Beast. The video features local fans and players explaining the club’s unique piece of trivia.
What makes the club particularly unique is its crest. Dating back to 13th century, in return for the town’s services to the King Edward I, his royal highness granted the town the privilege of using his Royal arms, without variation, as its own. This is believed to make Faversham Town F.C the only club in the country with this crest.
Situated in Kent, Faversham Town F.C is one of the oldest clubs in England, founded in 1884 they are a semi-professional football club competing in the ninth tier of the English football pyramid, the Southern Counties East Football League (SCEFL).
Anjna Mistry brand controller at Boost Drinks said: “We’re proud to announce our sponsorship of Faversham Town F.C, a local club with a proud history where many of the squad work full-time jobs alongside their football career. This campaign for us is the perfect opportunity to champion the everyday unsung heroes of the game. Whether you play sport at the highest level, enjoy Sunday league with your mates, or simply play 5-aside after work with your mates, there’s a BOOST for that!”
