Mondelez International is bringing back Cadbury Dairy Milk (CDM) Tiffin to help drive growth within tablets category this summer.
Available to order from June 1, the limited edition 95g tablet comprises biscuit and fruit coated in chocolate.
CDM Tiffin was available in the UK over a decade ago and is being brought back to the market due to consumer demand. Mondelez’s previous summer limited edition CDM variant, strawberries and crème, had a retail sales value of £2.3m in its first year alone and was the second fastest selling CDM SKU.
Mondelez International will be supporting the new line with digital activity and POS material.
Marketing director Matthew Williams said: “CDM Tiffin was a huge success with consumers, so much so that consumers have been appealing for its return on social media over the last few years! Retailers should stock up now to make the most of the opportunity.”
Birmingham-based Jag Singh, who owns Nisa Great Barr said: “It’s a cracking tasting product and it’s great to see it back again - nostalgic and reminiscent of old times, a premium offer,” he said.
