Cadbury Hot Chocolate is responding to current health trends with the launch of its first ever reduced sugar variant.
Sold in a 280g format (rrp 2.49 per jar), Cadbury Hot Chocolate 30% Less Sugar is made with no artificial sweeteners and is available to convenience stores now in cases of six.
The new launch is also being supported by out-of-home and digital marketing activity and will also benefit from the brand’s £1.7m total media campaign.
Paul Smith, senior brand manager for hot chocolate and refreshing beverages at Mondelēz International, said: “With 30% less sugar and only naturally sweetened, our new Cadbury Hot Chocolate 30% Less Sugar offers the same delicious creamy taste with fewer calories.
“By enabling shoppers to pick up their favourite hot chocolate in a reduced sugar variant, retailers can bring additional sales into the hot chocolate category. Retailers should stock up now to make the most of this exciting new addition to their hot chocolate range.”
