Kerry Foods’ Strings & Things has brought back its Cheestrings Pizza variant to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
First introduced in the ‘90s, the relaunch is designed to create nostalgia among parents buying for their own children’s lunches. To help celebrate, it has partnered with independent pizza kit company, Dough-Re-Me, to launch Cheestrings Pizza ‘N’ Things – limited-edition DIY pizza kits which can be ordered online on www.doughreme.co.uk. Kits start from £19.50 for a two-person treat, and £2.50 of every kit purchased will be donated to FareShare.
“We are so excited to continue celebrating the 25th birthday of Strings & Things by re-launching an absolute classic, Cheestrings Pizza and our fun Cheestrings Pizza ‘N’ Things kits. Both launches will allow retailers to excite both kids and adults alike and tap into the ever-growing cheese snacking category,” said Melissa Sargeant, brand manager at Strings & Things. “We know adults and kids are loving this relaunch. One in three Cheestrings Pizza shoppers are new to cheese snacks and 40% of shoppers have added the SKU to their baskets already! Retailers can join the nostalgic celebrations this summer by stocking up on a ‘90s favourite.”
