Energizer has added a ‘No Leaks’ promise across its best-selling lines. The brand promise has come in response to research showing that three out of four consumers have experienced leaking batteries.

It is hoped the pledge, which appears on packs, will help the brand stand out in the run up to the Christmas season, a key selling period for batteries.

“Our research shows that our no leaks guaranteed promise will be a driving force for new sales, with 69% of shoppers saying this message would be very appealing and 50% saying they would be more likely to purchase,” said marketing director Mandy Iswarienko.
