Retailers can use Nestlé's 2011 Get Set Go Free promotion to not only increase sales, but engage with their local communities. The company's biggest ever promotion runs across seven categories and gives consumers the opportunity to try out a range of 27 activities by collecting on-pack points.
Points can be collected on products including cereals, confectionery, water, coffee and yogurt and banked on the campaign's dedicated website, www.getsetgofree.com or Facebook page.
Trade communications manager Graham Walker urges retailers to make their own pos telling customers about activities available in their area to encourage shoppers to buy into the initiative.
The promotion is being supported with a £3m media campaign including TV ads from July 18.
