Green’s, one of Britain’s favourite cake mix brands, has launched a new Chocolate Egg Cake Kit.

The new kit offers shoppers a fun and easy way to bake; all customers need to do is add two medium sized eggs to create the cake, and then mix 125g of butter and water to the frosting mix to create a smooth and chocolatey finish. Chocolate eggs can then be used to decorate the cake.

The product, which contains no artificial colours or flavours, will be launched with an integrated PR and social media campaign as well as a Green’s social media competition. To enter, shoppers will be asked to submit their best Easter bakes on the Green’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages using the hashtag #GreensEasterBakes.

Three lucky customers will win a hamper of Green’s products, including the new Easter mix. The competition will run from March 19 until midnight on April 1.

Our versatile mixes provide the tools to bake something truly magnificent and we have created a strong marketing package to support our Easter launch and encourage consumer purchase.”
