Haribo is bringing back its Monsters Approved campaign and associated sweets - a definitive list of sweets aimed at preventing kids from being disappointed on doorsteps when they’re trick or treating.
This year also sees the creation of the Treatline, in association with delivery company Gopuff. By calling the number, anyone can have free sweets delivered, and it will deliver ‘monster approved’ sweets to front doors in minutes.
For Bristol, Birmingham, and London, the TreatLine will be offer 2,250 Starmix multipacks free of charge when grown-ups hit the emergency button on 31 October.
This year’s campaign, featuring glow in the dark out of home displays in Manchester and Peckham, builds on the success of last year’s and is set to encourage the nation to embrace the Halloween season. Phil Murphy, vice president of marketing at Haribo UK and Ireland, said: “We want to help grown-ups match the effort kids go to. The TreatLine with Gopuff is just one of the ways we’re making it easier to do this. Adults nationwide can visit the TreatLine on Gopuff to get Monster Approved sweets direct to their door.”
