The Collective has extended its range of kefir cultured milk drinks into 220ml single serve bottles (rrp £1.50), making it easier for consumers to get their daily dose of live cultures.
The range will be available in three flavours - Natural, Mango ‘n’ Turmeric and a new flavour, Berries ‘n’ Hibiscus.
The size makes it a convenient breakfast or snack on the go, perfect for after the gym or as a pick me up throughout the day. The brand-new Berries ‘n’ Hibiscus kefir is a fruity floral combination made with fresh raspberries, sweet blueberries and rich blackcurrants. The Collective has paired these berries with the trending ingredient hibiscus, which is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Kefir is made by fermenting milk with live cultures, much like a traditional yoghurt, but what sets kefir apart is the diverse blend and sheer number of live cultures. In fact, The Collective’s kefir boasts 13 different culture strains which result in 60-65 billion live cultures in each serving. This makes kefir different to standard yoghurt which will have on average 2-5 culture strains.
The Collective kefir is naturally high in essential vitamins and minerals and is a source of vitamin B2 and B12, calcium and protein. The drinks only contain sugars from fruit and milk (and a dash of honey in the coconut flavour). Like all The Collective dairy goods, it’s vegetarian and gluten free.
To support the launch, the brand will host an education campaign to help raise the awareness of the kefir category and will be driving trial with a marketing campaign across shopper marketing, PR and digital.
