Imperial Tobacco has left its best-selling L&B Blue brand out of a manufacturer price increase which took place across other cigarette and roll your own SKUs earlier this month.
The rrp of L&B Blue has been frozen at £8 for a packet of 20 cigarettes across the Real Blue, Bright Blue and Crushball SKUs (both King Size and Superkings), positioning it firmly in the value sector.
Tom Gully, brand planning manager, said: “Re-positioning L&B Blue’s pricing means that one of UK tobacco’s most iconic brands is now also one of the most affordable.
“We’d urge our retailers to consider stocking L&B Blue if they don’t already do so – the combination of big brand power at a great value price point means it’s bound to fly off gantry shelves.”
