With summer in full swing, Magners, the original Irish cider, has launched a new 5L keg and 330ml can multi-pack, meaning cider drinkers can easily share their favourite beverage with family and friends across the sunny season.
Available now, the 5L mini-keg (rrp £15) and the 330ml can is available as a multi-pack of 12 (rrp £6.99).
The keg holds five litres of Magners Reserve, a slightly higher ABV liquid than Magners Original (5.5% compared to 4.5%) based on the same great recipe and bursting with even more flavour. The convenient 330ml cans chill quicker, take up less room in the fridge and allow the cider to stay cooler for longer.
Magners sales rise in the hotter months - increasing its market share by almost 10% (10% increase, Nielsen Scantrack-GB Cider Total Coverage- MAT to 25.03.17) - showing both new formats will be welcome additions to summer get-togethers across the country.
The launch coincides with Magners’ new marketing campaign – Seize the Summer – which kicked off this month. The campaign features a series of sun-drenched events across the UK to get cider drinkers in the mood for making the most of sunnier climate. Magners has partnered with EasyJet Holidays to run a special ‘Seize the Summer’ on-pack promotion (which will appear on the 330ml can multi-pack) for cider drinkers to win a trip to one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations.
