M&M’s are turning yellow, green and blue for eight weeks from mid-May in order to bring a touch of Rio’s carnival spirit to the UK.
Brazilian-themed promotional packs offer prizes including a weekend in the M&M’s Ultimate Brazilian Party House, as well as thousands of Brazilian party packs. Set in the Leicestershire countryside on a 13-acre private estate, the ultimate party house will allow the winners, each accompanied by 19 of their friends and family, to spend a weekend in luxury. The campaign will be supported by striking POS material and £1.7m TV media spend.
“We are delighted to be launching the new campaign with M&M’s as Brazil’s party fever begins to hit the UK. As we saw during the Olympics and the Jubilee, these key moments bring friends and families together and create more sharing moments,” said retail excellence director Tony Lorman, adding that the M&M’s brand grew by 6% globally last year.
