Empire Bespoke Foods is bringing US breakfast cereal Marshmallow Mateys to the UK independent convenience sector.
Already established in the US, the frosted whole grain oat cereal delivers a sweet, toasted oat flavour and incorporates ‘a treasure’ of marshmallow chunks.
Marshmallow Mateys (RRP £3.75 per 320g pack) are available direct to independents and through wholesalers including Glencrest, Dhamecha, Bestway and others.
“Marshmallow Mateys brings something new to the breakfast table and is the perfect way to make breakfast fun,” said Madina Kaiumova, brand manager, USA & Cupboard.
“Around 85% of people eat breakfast cereals with 88% of those consuming them at least once a week. This includes an impressive 29% who eat them once a day or more and 50% who eat them at least four times a week.”
