Maynards Bassetts has announced the launch of its first ever sour soft jelly product: Soft Jellies Fizzy Fish.
The new sweet is the second Soft Jelly to be added to the Maynards range, following the launch of Soft Jellies Wild Safari in October last year.
The Fizzy Fish product features a selection of fruit sweets shaped like fish. Flavours include orange, strawberry, blackcurrant and lime: all made with natural ingredients and colours.
Anna Ulrich, brand manager for joyful candy at Mondelēz International said: “We know sour jellies are incredibly popular with consumers already, so we can’t wait to see the new Soft Jellies Fizzy Fish drive retailers’ sales in this segment even further.
“With the unique Maynards Bassetts taste made with natural colours and flavours, this new launch will certainly shake up the market by giving shoppers something fun and new to try.”
The Soft Jellies Fizzy Fish are available from this month in 160g bags (rrp £1.32), and sold to retailers in cases of 10.
The product is also available as a £1 price-marked pack, supported by POS materials including clip strips and display material.
