Mondelēz International has unveiled its festive range for 2022.
Featuring share and treat-size options from key brands including Cadbury, Oreo, Maynards Bassetts and Green & Black’s, Mondelez International is looking to drive sales via a new brand design across its range.
Last year, Mondelēz International led the Christmas confectionery market with the #1 SKU in seven sub-categories including seasonal sharing, advent calendars, selection boxes and tree decorations while total seasonal sales grew 6% last year (Nielsen value sales, inc discounters. W.e. 01.01.21). In the seasonal biscuits category, the brand saw a growth of more than 3%.
It aims to replicate that success with its 2022 festive line-up.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp will be available in a 360G block format and rolled out with a new gifting design aimed at driving incremental sales and encouraging shoppers to ‘trade-up’. RRP £3.99
Cadbury Jingly Bells will see a brand new White addition for 2022. Jingly Bells are individually wrapped in large sharing pouches and have an eye-catching seasonal design of snowflakes on a cosy knitted background. RRP £1.49
Mondelez has launched brand new Oreo Festive Colours. For the first time across Europe, there will be red, green and white coloured cremes whilst also keeping their Original Vanilla flavour. The product includes three 114g roll packs, each with a different colour. RRP £2.50
This year Mondelēz International is rolling out a brand new version of Cadbury Heroes The Who Am I? variant features all of the treat-sized shopper favourites you’d expect, but with a brand-new in-built game for sharing occasions. RRP £12
Tapping into the advent calendar trend, this bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate is sectioned into 25 individually-numbered chunks that can be broken off and enjoyed each day in the lead up to Christmas. Mondelez suggests that retailers can join in with the fun by encouraging their shoppers to take part in the ‘One Chunk A Day Challenge’. RRP £3.49
The Cadbury Chunk Collection includes individually-wrapped chunks of various flavours, including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel and Cadbury Dairy Milk Wholenut. RRP £5.00
The new Cadbury Favourites selection box is designed for seasonal indulgence, offering shoppers several of their favourite Cadbury Dairy Milk treats in one including a sharing bag of Buttons, a box of Fingers, a Twirl bar and 100g tablet. RRP £5.95
For Christmas 2022, Mondelēz International is rolling out a brand new chocolate Santa, made from Cadbury White. This seasonal treat is accompanied with a stand-out design of Santa wearing white, rather than his traditional red. RRP £2.99
Cadbury Mini Snowballs Bar combines Mini Snowballs with Cadbury chocolate. It comes in the Cadbury heartland tablet format which is designed for both sharing and self-treat occasions. RRP £1.49
Mondelēz International has developed a new Toblerone Selection Box, filled with four 100g bars and a mix of treat-sized Tinies in milk, white, and gingery orange flavours. RRP £10
