Little Jude’s is expanding its range of dairy products with a new range of milk lollies and multIpacks for its flavoured milks.
The new multipacks contain 4 x 180ml cartons and are available to retailers now in two flavours; chocolate and banana (rrp £3.50)
Ideal for packed lunches, Little Jude’s milks contain natural ingredients, with added vitamin D and calcium. As well as being naturally sweetened with honey, the range is also ‘school compliant’.
The new range of milk lollies contain 30% less sugar than simiiar children’s lollies currently on the market. Made with more than 70% full cream milk, and naturally sweetened with apple juice from concentrate, each 35ml lolly contains just 35 calories and less than 10g of sugar per 100g.
The range is available in strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavours, and is designed to appeal to the family market. The lollies come in packs of eight and will roll out to independents later this year (rrp £3).
Commenting on the lollies, Chow Mezger, Little Jude’s md, said: “Ice cream has been our family business for over fifteen years, and as our brood is quite literally growing, so is our product range.
”With young children now in the family, we realise as much as any parent the need for low sugar treats. Great taste and natural ingredients wasn’t enough for the new lollies, we wanted to ensure we answered parents growing concerns about sugar intake, as well as deliver the health benefits of a fortified milk product!”
