Britvic has revealed a competition for convenience retailers in celebration of the Pepsi rebrand rolling out this year.
Playing into the brand’s new strapline ‘Thirsty for More’, the competition hopes to reward ambitious retailers who want to lead by example and work tirelessly to stand out from the crowd.
To be in with the chance of winning a £250 cash prize and an exclusive Pepsi jumper and t-shirt, retailers have to submit a short description on why they need help with their soft drinks range.
One standout retailer of the five winners will also be selected based on their entry to receive a one-to-one visit from a member of Britvic’s category team, as well as a bespoke planogram for their store based on electronic point of sale data provided.
The soft drink company said the competition is worthwhile for any retailers looking to encourage cola sales with the help of Pepsi.
Entries are open until 1 March 2024 and five winners will be anonymously selected.
Ben Parker Britvic retail commercial director in Great Britain said: “Recognising and giving back to the retailing community remains a key priority for us as a business. Our Pepsi MAX® Thirsty for More competition is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to lead by example to receive our help in growing their soft drinks sales. The Pepsi MAX® brand has cultural ties to music, social occasions, and football, driving relevance among a wider audience and helping to recruit shoppers. As part of this, we’re proud to be able to go above and beyond than just rewarding a retailer’s business, by rewarding retailers personally with our £250 cash prize to do something they love –whether it be a festival, gig, sporting event or something else.”
