Pladis is introducing a new flavour to the McVitie’s Club range – the first time in over ten years.
Sitting beside Club Mint and Club Orange will be Club Salted Caramel, which will be rolling out across major retailers, wholesale and convenience until the beginning of April.
Consisting of a layered biscuit bar, salted caramel flavour cream, and encased in milk chocolate, McVitie’s Club Salted Caramel will come in packs of seven or eight individually wrapped and sell at an RRP of £1.00-£1.70.
David Titman, pladis’ marketing director commented: “Over the past couple of years, sales of chocolate biscuit bars have boomed (+11.5%) with more Brits rediscovering the pleasure of tucking into a sweet treat alongside a cuppa. Our Club brand – which has been a chocolate biscuit bar favourite for over 100 years – played a huge part in driving this growth and remains one of the most popular choices for shoppers.
