Pladis has unveiled its 2018 Christmas campaign, Merry Biscuits Everyone, and given its range a festive makeover.

The new campaign highlights the role that Pladis brands play at Christmas time. Seasonal biscuits delivered £6.4 million of sales into the convenience channel last year, so the category is vital for retailers during the festive period. (IRI, 20 w/e 31/12/2017) 

For Christmas 2018, McVitie’s Victoria is returning to shelves with new seasonal packaging that gives the product added appeal. The range is available in three formats including 100g (rrp £1), 300g (rrp £5.00) and 600g boxes (rrp £8.00).

McVitie’s White Chocolate Digestives Nibbles will also make a return this year. The limited-edition variant will feature deluxe festive packaging to ensure that the product stands out on shelf (rrp £1.99 per 120g sharing pouch).

The Pladis festive offering also includes: McVitie’s Family Circle, the number one everyday assortment brand (360g rrp £3.09, 670g rrp £6.00, 900g rrp £8); McVitie’s Moments (400g rrp £10); Jacob’s Biscuits for Cheese Selection (300g rrp £2.99, 450g rrp £4.29 and 900g rrp £7.50); Jacob’s Savoury Favourites (200g rrp £2.19); Jacob’s Savours flavoured crackers (250g rrp £4.29); Carr’s Assortment (500g rrp £7.50, 200g rrp £2.79); Jacob’s Caddies (rrp £3.49).
