Pure Leaf has launched a new range of Japanese teas, made using authentic matcha ingredients.
With demand for matcha products on the rise, Pure Leaf is expanding its speciality tea range to tap into this trend.
Rolling out now, the new matcha range features pure, ginger and mint variants. All are 100% natural, packaged in wrapped sachets and can be enjoyed at home or on-the-go.
The Pure Leaf matcha range uses Japanese tencha tea leaves to create a smooth, earthy taste that is designed to be enjoyed hot or over ice, as a tea or even a latte.
Noel Clarke, vice president for refreshments at Unilever UK, said: “Health and experience are key drivers within the tea category and matcha delivers on both. With our expertise in tea, it felt natural for us to extend our Pure Leaf offering with this new range and we are especially pleased to be the only brand on the market to produce a ginger flavoured matcha – proving our commitment to providing our consumers with something new.”
Pure Leaf matcha pure, mint and ginger are sold in recyclable plastic jars, containing 12 sachets (rrp £8.99 each).
