Following the introduction of its Cake on the Go range in April, Premier Foods is launching Cadbury Mini Rolls Raspberry in a twin pack format.
Sarah O’Neill, head of cake on the go at Premier Foods, comments: “We’re thrilled with how our Cake on the Go range is being received and we are looking to continually develop our offering to make sure it is what shoppers are looking for. The original Cadbury Mini Roll has been a big contributor to the growth of on the go cake and by offering our Raspberry variant as a twin pack, we are providing something different in a market of predominantly non-fruit flavours (KWP Usage, Total IH/CO 104w/e 31st Jan ‘16).”
Out of home snacking is worth £19.3bn (Kantarworldpanel OOH Snacking 27th Mar 2016) and with chocolate flavoured cakes in growth at 4.1%, Cadbury is perfectly positioned to help retailers make the most of this opportunity; with the brand in growth at +10.3% (IRI data 52 w/e 3rd December 2016).
Convenience retailers are advised to consider placing snacking products like Cadbury Mini Rolls twin pack next to coffee stations and alongside food-to-go meal solutions.
Cadbury Mini Rolls Raspberry twin packs are available in a case size of 12 (rrp 89p).
