In the run-up to Halloween – which seems to get earlier every year – Reese’s is set to launch its Become A Reese’s Treat campaign. The interactive competition allows UK shoppers to win prizes including a one-of-a-kind sculpture of their head and shoulders made entirely from the sweets.

Live now, and running until 7 November, the competition is entered by scanning QR codes on the brand’s social media and instore adverts. One lucky winner will be immortalised with chocolate sculptures made by the team at Chocolatician - renowned creators of edible art including the Willy Wonka chocolate statue and chocolate King Charles bust. The lucky winner will also receive a £5,000 cash prize, adding a sweet treat to their Halloween festivities.

Jackson Hitchon, general manager of Europe and world travel retail at The Hershey Company, said: “Halloween is becoming more popular every year in the UK, with fancy dress parties and trick-or-treating - it’s an anything but ordinary time of year. The Become a Reese’s Treat competition is an exciting way to engage with our consumers and ensure Reese’s remain a top choice during this vibrant seasonal event.”

On top of this, the brand is also rolling out a selection of themed skus for Halloween. The lineup includes Skeletons, Pumpkins and snack size Cups For those looking for a more indulgent treat, the Pumpkins King Size offers a generous portion of Reese’s in a festive pumpkin shape.
