In-store food-to-go specialist Aryzta Food Solutions is enabling retailers to capitalise on the summer of football with the introduction of a limited edition Otis football chocolate muffin.
The rich chocolate chip muffin features a chocolate filling and natural green coloured icing as well as iced football decorations.
Paul Whitely, head of marketing at Aryzta Food Solutions, said the launch of the muffin is designed to engage shoppers when football is “front of mind” this summer.
The limited edition 100g muffin has an rrp of £1.49 or 2 for £2. The product is available to retailers now, supplied frozen for thaw and serve and sold in units of 30 per case.
Aryzta is also launching a social media campaign to support the launch, which will also coincide with England’s World Cup matches. Three hampers will be given away to consumers as part of the campaign.
Retailers will be supported with bespoke in-store marketing materials including shelf barkers and a downloadable poster.
