Stoats has partnered The National Trust for Scotland to host Halloween events and give away fun prizes.

The oats company is running an on-pack promotion which will see one lucky shopper win a ghostly getaway to Fyvie Castle in Aberdeenshire. Plus there are 25 family memberships, 75 family day passes, and 25 Stoats goody bags up for grabs.

The brand has also created The Stoats Creepy Crawl, a new Halloween family event, taking place at the charity’s 11 properties across Scotland over the weekend of 27 – 29 October.

Olivia Stone, marketing director at Stoats, said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with the National Trust for Scotland’s family Halloween events. We both have a family focused approach so the partnership is a perfect fit.

“Halloween is increasingly an important time for retailers and gets bigger every year. As a Scottish company, it’s great to be supporting long-standing Halloween traditions, with a few new twists too. Our tasty porridge oat bars, made with premium Scottish oats and natural ingredients, make the perfect snack to keep little ones fuelled while out and about, enjoying some spooky fun.”

Families will explore gardens, woodlands and grounds at some of Scotland’s top heritage sites to complete some Halloween challenges.

Clare Willis, national campaigns & partnerships manager at the National Trust for Scotland, said: “Stoats and the National Trust for Scotland both care for some of Scotland’s top traditions, so it’s great to be working together on this fun event that celebrates our Halloween heritage.

“Halloween is becoming really popular across all our sites, so The Stoats Creepy Crawl will mean even more families can get involved in the fun this year. It’s a great chance to spend time outdoors together, celebrating and sharing the spooky stories and horrible history that Scotland has in abundance.”
