Toffifee is on TV this autumn with a new creative running from 12 September for eight weeks, as part a £5m campaign.
The new advert will drive consumer awareness, in turn driving boxed chocolate confectionery sales for retailers.
The ad continues to feature the tag line, “There’s so much fun in Toffifee”, whilst demonstrating its distinctive product ingredients: caramel, hazelnut, nutty spread topped with chocolate. This year, Toffifee is investing 30% more in a heavyweight TV campaign from the busy back to school period in September right up to the Christmas season, reaching 82% of viewers, claims Storck UK.
In addition, the brand will be investing in its first ever sampling campaign this November across the UK with an experiential campaign around shopping centres to help drive trial of this unique product and ultimately repeat purchase rates.
Andy Mutton, sales director, Storck UK, said: “We’re investing in a new advertising campaign to help drive demand for this product within the boxed chocolate confectionery category. Toffifee is performing exceptionally well with growth of 18.1% and in conjunction with this new creative and sampling, we expect significant uplift in rate of sale, pushing further sales for retailers.”
Toffifee is within the top 10 best-selling brands in the £790.6m boxed chocolates category, claims Storck UK. The 100g pack is well suited to everyday treating, while the 400g pack targets family sharing occasions.
