Becodefence Relaunch

Medicines and self-care provider Perrigo is relaunching its Beco nasal spray portfolio with a new ’Spray Hello to Summer’ media creative.

Designed to coincide with the summer peak in pollen allergiea, all Beco products will sport a pack refresh to drive the brand’s new identity and boost product navigation in-store.

The £1.7m investment in the multi-channel media campaign includes TV advertising, which goes live in April until July, and a pollen-reactive outdoor activation due to run alongside the creative.

Laure de Brauer, head of marketing at Perrigo, said: “Hay fever is a growing health concern in the UK, affecting one in four, yet only 34 per cent of sufferers defend against the symptoms. We know that taking prompt action at the first sign of trouble can make all the difference and hope that the newly branded Becodefence and existing top seller Beconase will help more consumers see that total hay fever control is within their grasp.”

Becodefence (rrp £9.99), Becodefence Plus (rrp £11.99), Becodefence Kids (rrp £9.99 / children between 6-12 years of age) and Beconase 100 (rrp £7.99 / 100 sprays) can be sold under a GSL licence, while Beconase 180 (rrp £10.99 / 180 sprays) can stocked by retailers with a prescription licence.
