Urban Eat is getting into the summer sporting spirit with the launch of ‘Le Tricolor’ and ‘the Brazilian’ sandwiches.
With the european football championships and the Rio Olympics just weeks away, Urban Eat is getting in on the fun by launching two summertime inspired snacks with an ‘international twist’.
The Le Tricolor (RRP £2.99), is Euro 2016 themed with chicken, pastrami and emmental on malted wheatgrain bread, representative of the nations taking part in the tournament. The Brazilian (RRP £2.99) is a fiery sandwich with spicy lime chicken on farmer’s bread, inspired by Brazilian flavours.
Urban Eat brand manager Isla Owen said: “This is the first time that Urban eat has launched themed specials, we have our regular monthly specials but this is the first time we’ve launched products influenced by specific events so we’re really excited to see them on the shelves.
“We obviously have a huge summer of sport ahead of us and we wanted to create two products that reflect that, so we drew inspiration from both the European football championships and the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.”
Le Tricolor launches on May 30, with The Brazilian launching on July 11, and both sandwiches will have a limited six-week run.
