Pastry brand Wall’s is giving away £5,000 as part of a nationwide campaign to help support local community clubs.
Community groups from across the UK can now register, via the brand’s dedicated Collectors’ Club website, to be in with a chance of winning a share of the cash prize.
Shoppers will then have to collect points by purchasing Wall’s pastry products from retailers and uploading a picture of their receipt or product barcode online. They can then donate their collected points to their favourite club and, as an added incentive, will be entered into a separate prize draw to win £500.
The top five clubs who receive the most points will win £1,000 and the top 20 clubs will feature on a live website leaderboard.
The Wall’s Collectors’ Club initiative will also be supported digitally and on social media. Retailers can capitalise on the campaign by displaying Wall’s products in-store and encouraging shoppers to get involved with the initiative.
Kim Burgess, head of markets at brand owner Addo Food Group, said: “We are committed to supporting communities and community groups across the UK and following the huge success of our Helping Hands campaign in 2017, we are pleased to be introducing another initiative that benefits both consumers and retailers.”
The Collectors’ Club campaign will run from now until 31 May 2019 and all Wall’s pastry lines will be included in the activity.
