Wells & Young’s has unveiled McEwan’s Red Ale, its first NPD for the brand since acquiring it in 2011.
Designed to appeal to men aged 30-50, McEwan’s Red will be available in a four-pack (rrp £4.99) and 12-pack (rrp £12.99) in 440ml cans with an abv of 3.6% in the wholesale channel from May. The launch will be supported by TV and consumers and trade press advertising which kicks off on May 25.
