Tesco One Stop will have over 1000 stores in a couple of years. The old school shopkeepers who have worked hard for 20-30 years and have made their money can work in a different way now. Rather than selling up they can run their stores with a more professional management type model and take more time off to enjoy their hard earned retirement. There's no loyalty anymore, it's dog eat dog and everybody has to do what's best for themselves. The symbols certainly do when they cut stores and staff. We've been Londis/Premier retailers for over 20 years and are considering joining Tesco One Stop.
