This whole move is just a complete and utter farce. What I fail to understand is the fact the costcutter & p&h have had over a year to organise this.costcutter seem to have fulfilled their side but p&h haven't.they are completely incompetent, they can't deliver the right products on time.if they couldn't deal with the volume they should never have taken on the contract in the first place. Blame then lies with costcutter too, someone obviously didn't do their homework to ensure the p&h were capable of delivering. We went live with p&h about 4 weeks ago now and it has just been horrendous.chill deliveries coming at 5 in the afternoon, orders half missing and the packing of the orders is simply unsafe with pallets falling off wagons etc. last week we ordered 40 cases of bread and we got none, so we had to go to tesco to buy some.
Costcutter need to get their finger out and sort this mess out.p&h just need ditching, they are completely incompetent and a utter disgrace.
Has anyone seen the Christmas catalogue? No Christmas cards, wrapping paper or anything
We are seriously considering leaving costcutter and are looking that our options.
Our area manager however has been fantastic, he is always been there and tried to sort things out.its just a shame that those higher up aren't as bothered about retailers
